Year 12 Gepp’s pupil Theo gave his fellow Tutees and Tutor a masterclass in cooking a traditional Italian pasta dish recently. Fellow tutees logged in from the U.K, Germany, Italy, and Russia to be taught by Theo how to cook this classic Italian meal called Pizzaiola. From his home in the province of Lucca, in Northern Italy Theo kindly passed on his family's recipe and also the specific Italian way of cooking it to his fellow Felstedians.
The Tutor group learned the best way to cook pasta, that onions are the key ingredient and there were also little tips about how to cook the best tomato sauce. Once cooked the group sat down together to enjoy their virtual dinner. Perhaps Theo’s own restaurant in Northern Italy might one day be a reality.
