Time to Shine at Felsted: A Summer Term Celebration of Confidence, Opportunity and Individuality

There is something uniquely special about the summer term at Felsted.

The campus feels brighter. The energy shifts. Confidence grows quietly in classrooms and loudly on sports fields!

It is the season where students begin to reflect on how far they have come, embrace new opportunities and discover more about themselves along the way.

The summer term perfectly captures the balance that sits at the heart of a Felsted education: achievement alongside happiness, ambition alongside wellbeing and independence alongside community.

Whether through co-curricular activities, friendships, leadership opportunities or academic progress, every experience contributes to helping our pupils become confident and compassionate young people.

This is what Time to Shine represents: A celebration of growth, opportunity and individuality.

Where individuals discover what excites and inspires them

At Felsted, we are proud to create an environment where students feel encouraged to participate, contribute and discover what excites and inspires them. Education should do more than deliver outcomes alone. It should help young people grow into confident, curious and capable individuals who feel ready to step forward into the world.

From academic progress, pastoral support and personal growth, Time to Shine is about recognising the many different ways children flourish. Because every child’s journey looks different.

For some, confidence grows through performing on stage. For others, it is found in the classroom, on the cricket pitch, during a conversation with friends or while trying something completely new for the first time.

Supporting pupils this exam season

Importantly, this also includes supporting pupils through periods of challenge and growth.

As exam season continues for many of our students, we remain committed to ensuring academic ambition and wellbeing work hand in hand. We believe young people achieve their best when they feel supported, understood and equipped with the confidence to approach challenges positively.

We look forward to sharing stories throughout the term that showcase what makes Felsted such a vibrant and inspiring community.

Because every child deserves the confidence and opportunity to shine.
