Many girls play regularly for School, local clubs and National Performance teams (London Pulse and Saracens Mavericks).
Under the guidance of Former England and Super League player Lindsay Keable, Netball is flourishing and the school has hosted and won many tournaments over the years.
Our aim is for all girls to enjoy physical activity and team-play and to achieve the level of skill and commitment which best suits their ability.
Netball is introduced to all pupils in Year 3 and is on the Sports Programme in the Spring Term for girls, although coaching sessions are provided all year round. A healthy Netball fixture list means matches are played against other local and regional schools . Felsted enters the IAPs U11, U12 and U13 Tournaments.
Netball is a core sport for girls throughout the Senior School in the Spring term. There is a full fixture list for teams from A to D for U14 and U15 with 1st to 5th teams from Year 11 to Year 13. These fixtures allow all players of all levels the opportunity to represent the school.
Felsted has had much success over the years including finishing 4th in the 2024 National IAPS Championships.
Netball Scholarships
Netball players showing potential are invited to apply for a Felsted Sports Scholarship, which are offered at Year 7, Year 9 and Year 12.
Netball Partnership
Felsted works with London Pulse professional netball club, providing pupils with pathways into professional sport.
