Football
Football is a popular sport and activity for both boys and girls at Felsted, who develop their skills under the guidance of FA qualified coaches and referees, and also learn the importance of fair play and respect in the game. Felsted is a member of the Independent Schools Football Association.
Football is offered as an activity for girls and boys in the Prep School, from Year 3 and Football is part of the sport programme in the Sixth Form to the boys (Autumn Term) and the girls (Spring Term). The teams compete in local and regional fixtures as well as cup competitions. Footballers have the opportunity to take part in 2-3 training sessions per week with fixtures mainly taking place on Saturday.
A football activity club runs for Years 9-11, which allows the pupils to develop their skills. The boys sessions are in the Autumn Term and the girls sessions in the Spring Term.
