Felsted has a strong tradition of sporting excellence. Over the decades, many professional athletes have been introduced to their sporting disciplines while at our school and, in common with pupils of all ages and abilities, have benefited from the expert coaching and high-quality facilities on offer.

Every pupil is encouraged to develop a healthy attitude to fitness and exercise and to participate in individual and team sports, including Rugby, Hockey, Cricket, Tennis and Netball, with regular inter-school fixtures and opportunities to take part in tours and trips.

A huge variety of other sports is available for pupils to try out in PE sessions or in co-curricular clubs too, including Swimming, Basketball, Squash, Dance, Football, Athletics, Golf, Horse Riding, Polo and Badminton.

“Sports are for all... there are top-of-the-range facilities on-site. ”
