Welcome to Felsted School
Felsted offers boys and girls aged four to eighteen a first class all round education, based on a safe, rural 90 acre village campus in stunning North Essex, only one hour from London and Cambridge.
We welcome students from all over the world to appreciate a British boarding school education, plus offer day and contemporary boarding options for our more local families, with daily bus routes from across the region.
Our annual 'Swing Into Spring' concert saw our talented musicians from across the Prep and Senior School, come together once again to put on a musical extravaganza!
This year's concert was celebrating the great American songbook, including music ‘from Ragtime to Rock n Roll.’
We enjoyed a wide range of performances from the Orchestra, Senior Chapel Choir, Young Voices Choir, Prep Steel Bands, Prep Jazz Band, Senior Steel Bands, Senior Jazz band, this year’s Battle of the Bands winner, ‘The Six of Spades’ and the evening finished with a Rock and Roll finale.
Highlights included the Felsted Orchestra performing music by Cole Porter and Mancini; the combined choirs performing 'Singin' in the Rain; 4 Steel Bands taking us through a range of Jazz and Swing numbers; the Prep Jazz Band's performance of 'Lucille'; and the Senior Jazz and Rock 'n' Roll Finale, during which a number of talented Senior School singers joined the band to deliver classic jazz and Rock covers.

The evening was a celebration of music at the highest level. Great songs and melodies delivered with confidence and panache to an appreciative audience.
