Drama
Drama makes a significant contribution to the academic and co-curricular life of the School as a vehicle for expressive learning.
With opportunities to get involved with Drama at every age group, from the Reception Nativity all the way up to taking a lead role in a Senior School production, pupils can learn about themselves and their environment; developing their teamwork skills alongside practising social behaviour, public speaking and organising their thoughts into language.

Scholarships and Awards
Drama Scholarships are available, offering talented performers the opportunity to take an ambassadorial role for Drama within the school.
Recent scholar opportunities have included workshops with top theatre companies The Paper Birds and Eastern Angles, as well as experiences with a variety of different performance experiences.
Students have also achieved places with the National Youth Theatre and go on to study drama at top drama schools and universities.
One of the things I enjoyed the most about Felsted was going on the production research trips, as this really inspired me to study Drama further.
Being involved in the big musicals was also so much fun.

Recent Productions
I was in every Felsted play going and was given the opportunity to play lead roles in most of them. I directed our House play and was also an active member of the Debating Society, entering all the public speaking type competitions.
My interest was nurtured and encouraged which helped me audition successfully for the National Youth Theatre and subsequently Drama School.
