Summer School

At Felsted International Summer School the safety of our students and staff is our number one concern.  We have been and will continue to be guided by the UK Government and other organisations in our decision making regarding the coronavirus pandemic. 

Please see below for the steps we will take to minimise the risks and protect our Summer School community:

• Onsite medical centre 
• Dedicated Summer School Nurse
• 24/7 Pastoral Care
• Regular cleaning of all areas by our in-house Domestic Services team
• Hand washing and sanitising facilities throughout the school 
• Ventilation in classrooms and other indoor areas
• Adaptable excursions programme to facilitate Government policies

Our refund policy will be as flexible as possible, with full refunds available should we be forced to cancel the course.  We will also refund or transfer a Summer School place should the home country of the student be added to the UK quarantine list prior to departure. The same can be said if the UK is added to the student’s home country quarantine list prior to departure.  If a student develops symptoms during their time at Felsted they will be required to take a PCR test.  Should there be a need to pay for private testing, this will be charged back to the student’s family. We will provide the means for them to isolate and will work with families to facilitate rearranged flights as much as we possibly can.

Should the student’s isolation period go beyond their initial departure date, we will continue to provide accommodation, meals and pastoral care free of charge until they are able to return home.  Further information is available in our terms and conditions or upon request.
