Work With Us
Named TES Boarding School of the Year in 2023, Felsted is one of the longest established schools in the country and in 2024 celebrated its 460 year anniversary.
Since its foundation in 1564 by Richard Lord Riche, who at the peak of his career had been Lord Chancellor under King Edward VI, Felsted has continued to equip young people with an excellent all-round education and the all-important skills, confidence and determination to use it to make a positive difference in the world around them.
An independent co-educational boarding and day school for around 1000 pupils aged 4 to 18, Felsted is set on a 90 acre village campus in the north Essex countryside, 40 miles from both London and Cambridge and just 15 minutes from Stansted airport.
We employ more than 600 staff in a community orientated environment, ensuring our pupils receive the very best in learning and co-curricular activities.
