Christmas Cracker Concert
What a fabulous start to our Christmas festivities. 120 pupils performing at our annual Christmas Cracker Concert last Thursday evening in the Roed Hall. The Prep School showed off a great range of ensembles and musical styles.
Our orchestras performed some Christmas treats and the two recorder ensembles played beautifully. The audience of well over 300 enjoyed the Young Voices choir immensely. They performed 'Glorious' and song from 'Moana'.
We then heard from our Year 7 Steel band, Jazz Band and League Ensembles. What was most impressive was the confidence and enjoyment of performing shown by our Young Felstedians playing together. The concert finished with the Year 8 Steel Band and the Jingle Bells finale.
Thanks to the Parents' Steel Band for playing so well and to the Dads for joining in on percussion at the end.
A truly fabulous night to celebrate the Prep School as a community full of confident and talented children. Well done and Merry Christmas to all those involved!
