Endowment Fund

A major goal for the Development Office is to realise the long term aim of raising money for an endowment fund which will support bursaries. Unlike many independent schools, Felsted does not have a large endowment fund and bursaries are currently funded out of fee income.
Felsted School wish to enable more to benefit from the educational experience that Felsted offers or to enable pupils to remain at Felsted when their parents' financial circumstances deteriorate.
The goal is to raise £300,000 during the next six years leading up to the 450th anniversary of the foundation of the school. This will be achieved through the combination of funding by benefactors, legacies and fee income.

There are many donors who would prefer to invest directly in to the development of a child’s education rather than in to capital projects and if you would like to discuss contributing to the fund, please contact us.
