Tennis

Felsted has fantastic facilities for tennis, with a capacity of 28 tennis courts during the summer months - an impressive sight when all in use - and 8 courts in use during the Autumn and Winter.

With a choice of hard, astro or grass courts, students have the opportunity to develop and improve their skills on a variety of surfaces.

Felsted’s Tennis Academy has a wealth of coaching resources, giving students of all levels the expertise to develop their game and achieve their full potential on the court. Individual feedback is given, whatever the level of play, with clear opportunities for players to develop and play to the best of their ability. Tennis is a main summer sport for girls and boys, alongside cricket, with private coaching available for all levels in group or one to one sessions at an extra cost. Numerous fixtures take place throughout the year, with the school competing in all the main school competitions, including the Glanville, Aberdare and Aegon Cups.

For elite players the Felsted Tennis Academy offers a combined academic and tennis programme to allow for a more individualised programme. Players may take advantage of 1 two hour intense session per week with additional private coaching at an additional cost.

Further information can be obtained from our Director of Tennis, Mrs Roslyn Marriott-Cox on rmc@felsted.org
