The Felsted Network

Educational Visits

It is very important that our students think ahead and consider their future careers and university courses. We start this process early at Felsted, providing our students with regular opportunities to visit work places and consider future career options.

As students progress through the school, many will choose to undertake voluntary Community Service or Work Experience in an area that links with their future career options. With the vast majority of our students going on to university, most will choose to travel to University Open Days by themselves. As part of our annual UCAS programme, we also run a Lower Sixth UCAS fact-finding trip to Anglia Ruskin University, as well as numerous one off visits to other universities such as Oxford, Cambridge and the University of London.

The Felsted Network

The Old Felstedian Society and Felsted School have embarked upon an exciting joint initiative to create The Felsted Network. The Network is for our former Felstedians, current and former parents, current and former masters and those with a close connection to the Felsted School community.

The aims are:

  • To create enterprise through providing a platform for contacts amongst former Felstedians and parents
  • To help former Felstedians in their career development through mentoring, work experience and internships etc.
  • To inspire current Felstedians regarding the world of work through engaging on the School’s Work Education and Careers Programme
  • To enable the Felsted community to connect through social activities and events

Please join The Felsted Network by setting up your own profile on Linkedin; www.linkedin.com, searching for The Felsted Network under Groups and request to join the group.
