Felsted Family Day 2023

With the sun shining bright, the temperature at 30 degrees, and Felsted's Chapel Courts prepared beautifully for the full day of tennis ahead, the inaugural Felsted Family Day tennis players arrived to the much-anticipated Peg Board Challenge. 

Players from across the generations, from Prep School to Senior School, to recent leavers, established Old Felstedians, parents, former members of staff and Governors paired up to take each other on. 

Despite the heat, set after set of energetic, competitive, and enthusiastic tennis was played. It was all about the taking part and was huge fun. 
 

Roslyn Cox, the Chief Fun Organiser (CFO) created a positive and convivial atmosphere, bringing everyone together and ensuring plenty of chilled drinks and a fine variety of food were on tap! 

Keen supporters cheered everyone on and all the players voted to repeat the event in the future! 

A huge thank you from all of us who played, to Roslyn and her team, and Kate Love, the Development Director, Grace Sullivan, the  Engagement Manager and the whole Development Team for setting up the wider event and giving us such a great opportunity to enjoy Felsted at its absolute best. What a hit! Smashing!
