Felsted has a formidable reputation for cricket both locally, regionally and nationally. Pupils begin to play cricket from Year 3 (age 8) at Felsted and it is the main sport for boys in the Summer Term in both the Senior and the Preparatory Schools. Several Old Felstedians have gone on to become professionals for the County and England teams, including
Derek Pringle, John Stephenson, Nick Knight and Tim Phillips.

Three centuries in a row for Felsted girl

In a remarkable start to her county summer, Felsted Preparatory pupil Nancy Hebron, has scored three consecutive hundreds for Essex U13 Girls, the first time that has ever been achieved at any level in the history of Essex Women and Girls cricket. Please click here to read more.

 

Essex Cricketer comes to Felsted - November 2013

Felsted pupils are enjoying the opportunity to gain some hints and tips from Essex opening batsman, Jaik Mickleburgh. Jaik is shadowing Director of Cricket Jason Gallian for a number of Thursday's before Christmas, and is really enjoying the chance to help young batsmen hone their skills.
