Admissions

Parents often start looking for schools for their children between two and three years before entry, and demand for places at Felsted is high. The Admissions Team are always happy to answer your initial questions, explain our entrance procedures or arrange a visit.

We encourage families to come and visit Felsted either at an Open Morning (which is held twice a year, normally in May and Sept/Oct) or at an individual visit. This consists of a meeting with the Headmaster or a member of the Senior Leadership Team, a tour of the School with one of our students and a visit to a Day or Boarding House, where the Housemaster or Housemistress can outline the School’s commitment to high-quality pastoral care.

Visits usually take place on Wednesday or Friday mornings, but occasionally can be arranged for other times. You can book a visit by contacting Mrs Ruth Wyganowski, Admissions Registrar (tel. +44 (0)1371 822605, senioradmissions@felsted.org. An individual visit is a good way to follow up an Open Morning.

The next step is Registration. Fill out and send us the Registration Form and fee as soon as you are ready; once we have this, you are then included in our list of applicants for the appropriate year. As a registered student, we will also keep you up to date with events at School and we hope you will take the opportunity to get to know us.

For details of our Entrance Requirements, please see click here.

Parents will be asked to confirm their intention by completing a “Final Confirmation of Entry” and paying a deposit (refundable against the final term’s fees).

We aim to make this process as smooth as possible for families, so please do contact us at any stage if you would like further clarification.
