Felsted's new Music School opened for use in September 2008. Designed by Nicholas Hare and built by Jerram Faulkes, the new building comprises a large recital hall with room for an audience of over two hundred, a recording studio, percussion suite, two classrooms as well as thirteen teaching and practise rooms. It is also home to a Steinway Model B  Grande Piano.
