Drama

Drama is a key aspect of school life for Young Felstedians. As well as curriculum drama pupils have the opportunity to get involved in a number of productions held throughout the year in different age groups. The annual Nativity performed by the Pre-Preparatory School is a wonderful occasion and enjoyed by both the performers and their parents. There are also plays performed by Years 3 and 4, Year 6 and Years 7 and 8.

Most recently was the Year 7 and 8 performance of Zeegpaw, a play written and produced by Tony Harris who is head of drama at Felsted Preparatory School. This was a great success and everyone who attended marvelled at the ability of the performers and the wonderful set that was created by the Art department.

As well as acting, pupils have the chance to get involved with the Technical aspect of a production. The Ross Hall provides extensive facilities for pupils to learn and they can carry their knowledge over to Felsted School where they can develop their skills even more.
