Felsted is located on an 80-acre site in rural Essex. Although set in beautiful countryside Felsted is within easy reach of Stansted Airport (20 minutes), Chelmsford (20 minutes), Cambridge (40 minutes) and London (1 hour).
We can offer a variety of venues – the Lord Riche Hall, ideal for Wedding Receptions, Dinner Dances, Exhibitions, and Concerts etc. The Cromwell Centre is more suited to the smaller more intimate events, such as lunches and meetings. Other venues include the Grignon Hall, a beautiful wood panelled school hall, which has tiered seating and can accommodate around 350 people, and lastly the Music School, another more modern building.
We have our own catering department that can provide menus of a high standard for any function that takes place. Our Catering Manager would be pleased to meet and discuss personal requirements with each client. Private bar facilities are available by prior arrangement.
We have numerous boarding houses which can be used for accommodation, offering single rooms or small dormitories. (We can only offer residential accommodation outside of the academic term).
