Monts lost the final to Deacons but could have pulled off a surprise win. We fell 20 runs short when the last wicket fell with 5 overs to go. Deacons expecting to score over 200 runs only managed 158. Toby Shadaverian with his very slow spinners managed to clean bowl the top three batsmen all first team players.
