Mont's and Manor pupils performed a musical feast for parents and staff in the Music School recently. An enjoyable evening was had by all, raising an amazing £3000 for Farleigh Hospice.

March 2009
Farleigh Hospice have recently been presented with a cheque for £1,000 as a result of their Autumn Fair which was organised by the two day houses prior to Christmas. This sum is enough to fund 100 home visits by a specialist nurse or 100 clinic treatments so well done to all those who were involved.

The Saturday Quiz, kindly organised by Mr. Alan Chamberlain, is competed for by all the Houses (excluding upper 6th Houses) at regular intervals throughout the term. Teams of four, from the lower school, answer questions on such topics as sport, current affairs and general knowledge. This term the team of girls from Manor House, consisting of Stephanie Byrne, Leanne McCallum, Emma Searle and Lucy Stuchfield, have been triumphant on both occasions. A signed leather book for display in the House will mark their achievement.
January 2009
Manor and Mont’s held their annual feast on Saturday 17 January and gave Dr.Walker and his wife their first experience of such an occasion. Pre-dinner drinks were served in the Music School and Pooja Patel performed some wonderful Indian dances whilst everyone filed into the Lord Riche Hall for dinner. An enjoyable meal was followed by speeches and musical performances from Bryony Arnold, Georgia Arnold, Gabriella Shanahan, Alice Short, Charlotte Webb, Johnny Bardrick, Gus Nicholson, George Smith, Patrick Stout, Ashley Thomas-Ower and Edward Thorne.
November 2008
Manor and Mont’s Houses held an inaugural Christmas Fair during the Autumn Term. This was a most successful and rewarding event with the combined efforts of the two Houses raising over £900. This money will be given to Farleigh Hospice.
The stalls, many run by the pupils themselves, did a roaring trade. These included face painting, name the teddy bear, raffle, jewellery, cakes, tombola and much more. Many students, parents, staff and people from the village attended which led to the success of the whole evening. This has become an annual event.
October 2008
Manor played Folly's in the final of the Indoor Cricket and won by three wickets. Both Laura Dorrington and Jasmine King played well.
