Stocks’s House has a warm, caring and friendly environment where girls are encouraged to achieve their maximum potential in all areas of the School. Talent abounds in all directions in Stocks’s, academic, artistic, musical and sporting but more importantly is the sense of a supportive, caring community.
Stocks’s makes the most of any opportunity which gets the whole house together. Birthdays are celebrated in Mrs. Marshall’s house with drinks, pizzas and birthday cake. On fireworks night we have sparklers and sometimes have a small fireworks display accompanied by hot dogs. At the end of the night we do apple bobbing which often ends in fits of laughter. On pancake day the house gets together to have pancakes; this year we ate 88 together with 2 bottles of maple syrup, a bottle of lemon juice and two bowls of sugar!
