The girls of Stocks's won the Senior Tug of War event which took place at the end of term.

The Upjohn Declamation is the most prestigious public speaking and debating event in the School calendar and this has been won by Andrea Smith Valls of Stocks's House for her fascinating and forthright analysis of the future of the acting profession.

The adjudicator, once again, was former Chairman of Governors and High Court Judge, Peter Beaumont.

Andrea was up against Filip Bigos, Ben Gibbon, Lucy Stuchfield, Rebecca Mansfield, Jamie Gough and Madeleine Seacombe who all gave a range of thought provoking, eloquent and insightful talks and Peter Beaumont mentioned in his summing up that the standard of the competition was as high as it has ever been.
