The girls of Follyfield presented a cheque to Keith Snow, Fundraising Manager of Macmillan for £2984.59. The money was raised through sales of pyjamas as part of the Lower Sixth Business Enterprise Competition.

The girls of Follyfield won the Junior annual Tug of War which took place at the end of term.
March 2009
The girls of Follyfield have won the House Business Enterprise Competition for 2009. They marketed cakes and books which raised £448 for their charity Macmillan Nurses. The girls worked together as a team and deserved their success.
October 2008
Follyfield girls organised a charity hockey tournament for all the houses, a night for the juniors and a night for the seniors. Each team thoroughly enjoyed themselves, the evening included a best dressed competition.
The girls raised £230 and this money will be put towards funds raised in the forthcoming Business Enterprise Competition. All proceeds will then be donated to MacMillan Nurses. Follyfield has a strong connection with MacMillan Nurses and they will continue to raise money for this worthwhile charity in the future.
May 2008
Follies and Elwyn's put on yet another annual show together, this time with the title ‘Ooh, àve a banana.’ This show involved members of both Houses, performing a wide variety of acts, from an amazing gymnastics display to an uncanny impression of Elwyns housemaster, Mr Sugden. The show was very entertaining and ran smoothly over two nights. It was well received by both parents and students and many people look forward to its return next year.
March 2008
In March the Library Reps hosted an enjoyable inter-House quiz to celebrate World Book Day. The event took place in the Library and was attended by more than 30 pupils. It was a closely fought competition with Follyfield and Elwyn's joint leaders at the end of the penultimate round.
However, in a decisive final round, Follyfield claimed the trophy by one point.
October 2007
The girls in Follyfield organised a charity hockey tournament and all those who took part had a great evening filled with laughter and cheering.
They raised £100.00 which is being donated to the Premature Baby Unit at The Princess Alexander Hospital in Harlow. Abigail Diss, in Follyfield, was inspired by her dance teacher to raise money for this good cause as she has just had a baby which needed specialist care when born. The money will be put towards an incubator for premature babies.

The girls of Follyfield won the House Business Enterprise Competition for 2008.The team, under the Chairmanship of Danielle Paul, worked hard to make items of jewellery, which were marketed so well that they raised a handsome profit of £570. This, in addition to previous funds raised from a social event and profits from the 2007 Young Enterprisers Competition has brought the total to around £2000. The money raised has been given to MacMillan Nurses.
