Deacon's is situated roughly in the centre of Felsted School and is within minutes of the Dining Hall, Classroom Blocks and the two astro-turfs (the newest astro-turf was named after Deacons’ first housemaster, John Cockett – also an Olympic sportsman).  Deacons House is extremely well rounded and is always active with a lively and friendly atmosphere about it. It is one of the smallest boy’s houses, consisting of approximately 50 pupils.  The community is close and there are no unfamiliar faces.
