Felsted is proud of the broad and exciting education it provides for Day Pupils, allowing them to take full advantage of all the facilities of a Boarding School, while continuing to live with their families. Opportunities for Music, Drama, Sports and also clubs for a wide range of activities are available to them on the School campus. 

A  Day Pupils' day begins at 8.30am and ends at the latest by 5.50pm, from Monday to Friday (except Wednesdays when all day pupils go home at 3.45pm after sporting fixtures).  There are lessons on Saturday mornings from Year 5 (Age 9) and after sporting commitments in the afternoon the day ends at approximately 3.45pm. 

Pupils in the Pre-Preparatory Department (Ages 4-7) start the day slightly later at 8.45am and finish at 3.30pm.  Children with older siblings in the Prep School may arrive from 8.15am. A Breakfast Club is available at an extra charge. The 'Woodlanders' After School Club is also available for Pre-Prep pupils until 5.45pm Monday toFriday, but does need to be booked in advance.

Day pupils in Years 5-9 (Ages 9-12) may stay for tea and evening activities/homework, but must be collected by 7.45pm.
