The Bursary Application Process    

If your child is already at Felsted and your financial circumstances have changed recently, please read the Bursary Policy. If you believe you might be eligible for a Hardship award please complete the Bursary Application Form and send it to: Mrs Margaret McKenna, Bursar, Felsted School, Felsted, Essex CM6 3LL. Alternatively please contact the Bursar on 01371 822620 or bursar@felsted.org for further clarification.

If you are applying for one of the two 100% bursary places for entry in September 2011, the process is as follows:

Step 1: Please read the Bursary Policy. If you require further information about Felsted please complete the Prospectus Request Form or contact the Admissions Office on 01371 822605 (Ages 13-18) or 01371 822611 (Ages 4-12).

Step 2: Please fill in the Bursary Application Form and send it with a covering letter stating why your child would benefit from a Felsted education and what he or she may offer Felsted.  Please send this by  31st January 2011 to:

For entry age 11: Mrs Ruth Wyganowski, Admissions Registrar, Felsted Preparatory School, Felsted, Essex CM6 3JL

For entry age 13: Mrs Claire Clements, Admissions Registrar, Felsted, Essex CM6 3LL

Step 3: If you meet the financial criteria, you will be contacted in early February for your child to take an entrance test at Felsted. If your child succeeds in meeting the standards required you will be asked to meet with the Head to further assess how Felsted may be the right choice for your child.

Step 4: You will then be notified as to whether your application is successful.
